Come Join Us Beginning on October 13, 2009!

Bishop Ted Schneider is bishop emeritus of the Metropolitan Washington DC Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Prior to becoming Bishop in 1995, Bishop Schneider had led many groups to visit the Holy Land. An avid biblical scholar and amateur archaeologist, Bishop's Schneider's tours were a spiritual and educational highlight of countless individuals. After Bishop Schneider's retirement in 2007, several Pastors encouraged him to lead another trip. So, this fall, he'll be leading yet another of his famous tours, with the help of DC Synod Pastors Steve Buechler and Craig Endicott.

We'll be spending 10 days in Israel, during which our travels will take us to Galilee, Jerusalem, Nazareth, Meggido, Masada and the Dead Sea. Following our time in Israel, participants will have the option of returning to the United States or continuing on for 6 more days in Egypt. During our time in Egypt, we'll visit Mount Sinai (and the Monastery of St. Catherine), the Great Pyramids and Cairo. Read all about the trip in the pdf brochure, and register online through Purpose Tours.

An all inclusive price (airfare, hotel and meals) of $2998 covers the Israel trip, and the cost of continuing on for another 6 days in Egypt is just $798.
